This was our first concert back live and in-person. We didn’t video record it so we hope you were able to join us.
Cypress Creek FACE brings back live music! Musique Chez Moi presents a “Musical Potpourri,” featuring pianist Roger Keele, soprano Anne Heath-Welch and baritone Lee Gregory. Enjoy a sampling of musical genres, including opera and musical theater, in our first live Promenade Series concert at John Wesley UMC in over a year. This free concert is our way of welcoming you back to live performances.

We are still observing CDC precautions. Everyone who attends the concert will have to wear a face mask. We hope you understand that this is out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety.
We will be serving free refreshments: pre-packaged cookies and bottled water.

Dr. Roger Keele, piano
Dr. Keele is the Director of Music for St. Matthew’s Methodist Church. Keele is a frequent performer on the FACE Concert Series in Northwest Houston and at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts, and is the founding director of Musique Chez Moi: NW Houston House Concerts, and a founding member of the St. Cecilia Chamber Music Society and the Lone Star Lyric Theater.
Anne Heath-Welch, soprano
Anne Heath-Welch is a dramatic soprano who performed professionally for over twenty years in the UK and Europe. She was based in London and was a principal soprano at English National Opera and also performed at the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, Welsh National Opera and Scottish Opera in the UK. She has been teaching voice in the Houston area both privately and at the collegiate level since 2005.
Lee Gregory, baritone
A winner of the Licia Albanese Puccini Foundation Competition, Lee has participated in a number of prestigious training programs including San Francisco Opera’s Merola Opera Program and the Western Opera Theater Tour, Aspen Music Festival, Cincinnati Opera’s Apprentice Artist Program, and the Des Moines Metro Opera Tour. He is also the recipient of the Dean Goodman Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Theater for John P. Wintergreen in Of Thee I Sing with Lamplighters Music Theater.
