AURORA Trio

The AURORA Trio presents Celestial Wanderings. In this exciting performance, AURORA will transport the audience across the galaxy as we explore music with celestial themes. The program will include favorites like Debussy’s “Clair de Lune” and a popular song from the 60’s, “The Sunset” by The Moody Blues. We will also introduce you to a hauntingly beautiful composition by Slovenian composer Blaz Pucihar, Full Moon Trio, and a harp and flute duet by Gary Schocker called Angelsong with sacred music influence. Journey through the constellations with us and prepare to be mesmerized by the lovely combination of instruments in our trio – flute, harp and cello.

AURORA is a harp, flute, and cello ensemble embracing classical repertoire while championing contemporary music by emerging composers. Having performed together across Houston for the past seven years in venues ranging from intimate house concerts to distinguished galleries such as the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts, these three musicians have forged strong personal connections which translates to beautiful artistry and chemistry on stage.
